Sr. Electrical Engineer

We have an opportunity for someone dynamic to join our Field Services team based on our client’s site in northern California. This is a full-time position.
Compensation: $155,000 - $230,000
*anticipated annual salary may vary based on skills, experience, qualifications and internal peer equity. The pay range listed for this position is based on the anticipated base compensation at the time of the posting.

You will attend meetings and participate in client field visits as needed in the Benicia area.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
* Ensure the operational integrity and regulatory compliance of the plant’s electrical systems.
* Design electrical and control systems for engineering projects.
* Assist the Engineering Manager in preparing project budgets.
* Develop project scopes, specifications, and manage RFQs.
* Document changes in a MOC system.
* Oversee contractors, ensuring work quality, on-time completion and compliance with standards.
* Review vendor’s documentation and quotations.
* Lead the commissioning of engineering projects.
* Identify opportunities to enhance reliability of power and control systems.
* Support maintenance teams with troubleshooting of production equipment.
* Work with the Maintenance Department to implement repairs, improvements and support the plant's operations.
* Coordinate updates of electrical documentation, drawings, and data with design/drafting team.
* Review plant electrical practices and standards direct updates to ensure those meet company requirements.
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
* 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in an industrial setting.
* Hands on experience with electrical distribution systems (480V to 138kV), and substations, transformers and MCC’s.
* Experience with hazardous area classification assessments and requirements.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
