What You'll Do:
* Assist Occupational Therapists in providing treatments and interventions to improve residents' functional abilities and quality of life.
* Implement individualized treatment plans designed by Occupational Therapists to help residents perform daily activities.
* Document residents' progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
* Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapists, speech therapists, and nursing staff, to provide comprehensive care.
* Educate residents and their families on techniques to enhance functional independence and ensure a safe environment at home.
What We're Looking For:
* Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in California.
* Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
* Strong clinical skills and the ability to effectively implement treatment plans.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate and dedicated to providing patient-centered care.
