Occupational Therapist (OT)
Aviara Healthcare Center is looking for a compassionate, committed, and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team!

Purpose: To act as the patient's partner to restore and maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Identify and meet patients' needs and goals
* Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
* Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs
* Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
* Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
* Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery
* Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
* Document patient care services
* Supervises COTAs according to organization policy and state regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy approved by an accredited organization
* State Licensed to practice as a Occupational Therapist
* Experience as an Occupational Therapist in a SNF is a plus
* Possesses and maintains current CPR certification
Environmental conditions: Inside work, normal temperatures, some noise, occasional fumes/odors, and potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
