Lead Hospital Housekeeper

Xanitos is hiring a Full time Lead EVS Hospital Housekeeper for 1st Shift at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

* Hourly Pay Rate $14.35 plus an additional $2.00 per hour worked Lead pay on your Lead weekends!


* Work Hours: 7am to 3:30pm


* Includes every other weekend/holiday.

Daily Responsibilities:


* Assist with EVS frontline staff.


* Help set up for shift change.


* Provide assistance to frontline staff with any housekeeping process or procedure.


* Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.


* Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.


* Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.


* Dusts furniture and equipment.


* Polishes metalwork.


* Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.


* Empties wastebasket and Transports trash and waste to the disposal area.


* Replenishes bathroom supplies.


* Transports small equipment or tools between departments.

Job Qualifications:


* Experience in the janitorial industry a plus.


* Medical cleaning a plus.


* Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.


* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.


* Basic computer literacy.
