The Opportunity


* Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners.


* ED/UCC experience preferred.


* New grads with strong emergency or paramedic/EMT experience will be considered.


* Current national certification, DEA, and ACLS are preferred.


* Current OR state license is a plus.

The Practice

Mercy Medical Center - Roseburg, Oregon


* Level III Trauma Center with 110 beds and the only facility for about 80,000 lives in a large, beautiful geographic area of Southern Oregon.


* State-of-the-art 26-bed Emergency Department that sees 42,000 annual ED patient visits.


* Excellent backup specialists including a Stroke Program with a 24/7 Cardiology Department.


* Vituity partners in Hospital Medicine providing well-run and efficient integrated care at the site.


* New Sonosite Edge ultrasound, Glidescope (adult and pediatric), and iCare tonometer.


* The ED sees an incredible amount of pathology.


* This is a teaching facility with family practice residents.

Medical and PA students rotate in the ED.
