This position reports to Supervisor Sampling & Inspection and is based at Fort Washington, PA

Role reports to: Supervisor Sampling & Inspection

Location: Fort Washington, PA

Travel %: none

What you will do

The QA Scientist I is responsible for providing sampling and testing of raw materials and packaging components to support the Fort Washington facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Sampling and inspection of chemical components, bulk products, containers and closure, labeling and packaging materials.

• Provide support to the review and disposition of packaging materials.

• Provides training to other sampling and inspection employees.

• Provide support in process improvements and SOP modifications.

• Provides support to audits and audit observation resolution.

• Prepare samples including labeling and deliver samples to the laboratory for testing.

• Other related duties as required.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/secondary education or equivalent experience (minimum 4 years) is required

• A minimum of 4 years of related experience within a GMP environment is required

• Strong knowledge of regulatory cGMP and CFR is required

• W arehousing/inventory control system experience is required.

• Basic knowledge of computers and computer applications

Desired Qualifications

• Pharmaceutical and/or OTC sampling and inspection experience is preferred

• Good interpersonal skills/teambuilding skills

• Ability to interact with all levels of management
