Principal Duties and Responsibilities



* Leads the design, implementation and administration of total rewards strategy to ensure company is able to attract and retain the best talent


* Serves as a champion for employee benefit programs including health, wellness, retirement programs and other employee perks


* Leads, supports and develops a team of benefits and compensation professionals


* Oversees collection and analysis of compensation and benchmark data to determine competitive positioning of compensation and benefit programs


* Evaluates and makes recommendations on employee benefits and compensation programs to create an attractive and competitive package.


* Develops and administers compensation and benefit policies, training and education to align with company objectives.


* Manages vendor relationships, including evaluation or re-negotiation to ensure value add and return on investment


* Management of annual renewal process, new hire and open enrollment planning, communication and administration, which may involve taking overflow calls during open enrollment


* Partners with plant HR leadership teams to ensure visibility and education on total rewards package


* Oversees compliance with all benefits and compensation regulations and requirements including but not limited to pay equity or transparency requirements, HIPPA, and ERISA


* Supports retirement plan administration including facilitating annual audit, non-discrimination testing, annual matching process, and partnering with vendors on any plan changes or updates


* Stays informed on trends and competitive practices to make recommendations on changes benefits and compensation programs and practices


* Assists in management of annual compensation and bonus planning processes, budgets tools, and systems
