Job Summary: 

 

We are currently looking for a Class A Driver, at our Madison, TN Healthcare Laundry facility.  We are looking for someone who is confident in decision making, can act quickly, and has excellent communication skills.   If you are ready to make a commitment to measurable performance and continuous improvements, then we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:


* Operate Class A vehicles, including tractor-trailers, in a safe and efficient manner.


* Transport goods to various locations, ensuring on-time deliveries.


* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.


* Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status.


* Comply with all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.


* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.


* Assist with loading and unloading of goods as necessary.


* Report any vehicle issues or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications:


* Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).


* Clean driving record with no major violations.


* Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Class A Driver.


* Ability to operate a variety of vehicles and equipment.


* Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and traffic laws.


* Excellent communication and customer service skills.


* Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
