RN - Helicopter Critical Care Transport

90% FTE, day/night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts per week.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

You will float between Janesville, Mineral Point and Portage, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:


* Provide emergency critical care and hospital-level care either from the scene of an accident or transporting inter-facility from hospital to hospital.


* Make a huge difference in the outcome of patients, while partnering with EMS, outside hospitals, and your team to transport the patient to a higher level of care.

Qualifications



* Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required


* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Work Experience



* 3 years of recent experience in air medical transport or three (3) years of recent experience in ICU Required


* 5 years experience in an Emergency Department Required


* 5 years of combined ED and ICU experience Required


* Patient transport experience Preferred


* Air medical transport experience Preferred


* EMS experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications



* Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing requirements Upon Hire Required


* Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required


* Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Upon Hire Required


* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Upon Hire Required


* Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), Trauma Nurse Advanced Trauma Course (TNATC), or Transport Professional Advanced Trauma Course (TPATC) Upon Hire Required
