Job Description

Job Summary

The position of Quality Analyst is responsible to develop, publish, and implement test plans for entire IR Product suite.

This position tests products and applications to ensure they reach their maximum potentials with zero defects.

This position would work with BA team to understand requirements and specification for each project affecting any component or application.

QA would be responsible to minimize risks by identifying, communicating and escalating issues appropriately to management.

Job Responsibilities


* Design and develop test plans, test cases, test data for manual and automated testing


* Execute all components of project test plans, evaluate test results, record and track defects.


* Perform and/or support all phases of the QA Test Life Cycle - Perform test activities as assigned by management.


* Perform functional, system/integration and regression testing for all changes introduced to the product


* Participate with the release of software to clients, ensuring that the QA process is followed and that no regression occurs


* Responsible for conducting and reviewing a range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure the system meets or exceeds specified standards and end user requirements with general oversight


* Drafts test plans and scripts to ensure that system tests are successfully completed and documented, and all problems are resolved


* Typically follows existing procedures to perform routine assignments and to solve standard problems


* Analyzes basic information and standard practices to make decisions impacting work performed


* Individual contributor working with direct oversight


* Performs all other duties as assigned by management

Education


* Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred

Experience


* Typically requires 2-4 years of related work experience


* Mortgage Industry knowledge preferred


* Experience working on API testing, Postman collections , SQL scripts


* Issue and project tracking software like JIRA, Confluence
