Snr ATR Accountant



* Successfully implement and manage general ledger accounting processes to ensure accurate and timely finance reporting.


* Responsible for the service delivery and processing of assigned delivery of services in the ATR function (cross sector) - mainly for tax accounting, US GAAP LE reporting, prepare federal, state, and local tax records, supports the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax related responsibilities where required


* Oversee and determine the accounts reconciliation process to maintain financial accuracy.


* Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide requested documentation and support during audits.


* Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.


* Maintains detailed and robust knowledge of all aspects of ATR process matters


* Prepare and review financial statements to ensure they reflect the company's financial position accurately.


* Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.


* Mentor and guide junior accounting staff to foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.


* Participate in special projects and initiatives aimed at improving financial processes and systems.

Qualifications

Education:


* Bachelor or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.

Experience and Skills:

Required:


* Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or finance.


* Strong understanding of local and international accounting standards and regulations.


* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.


* Proficiency in accounting software, e.g.

SAP and/or ERP system working framework, Excel and J&J financial tools.

* Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Preferred:


* Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin


* Ability to read, write and speak in Japanese.


* Experience working in a multinational company.


* Professional certification required (e.g.

CICPA, AICPA, ACCA, CGMA)

Other:


* Experience with process improvement initiatives.


* Familiarity with financial audit processes.
