Product Associate

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Collaborate with technical teams and cross-product, product owners on the creation and prioritization of a product backlog.

Refine and manage product backlog items to drive value in accordance with business stakeholder priorities.

Convert Business requirements into functional stories and facilitate the various scrum ceremonies and Joint Application Development sessions.

Facilitate and coordinate JAD sessions to expedite and streamline the requirement gathering process.

Develop and maintain system level artifacts, such as flow diagrams, process diagrams and current and proposed state diagrams.

Conduct refinement sessions to gather detailed requirements and UX designs.

Identify, coordinate and sequence dependencies across teams.

Help resolve impediments for the team as needed.

Identify, improve, and develop technology solutions that drive our strategic goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Management Information Systems or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Product Associate, Business Analyst, System Analyst, or related occupation.

The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Management Information Systems or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Product Associate, Business Analyst, System Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Agile product development; Business Analysis; Converting Business requirements into functional and technical stories; Defining and building a product backlog; Large scale technical platforms; Working in banking, account opening, online and mobile platforms; JIRA; Confluence; SharePoint; and MS Visio.

Job Location: 1111 Polaris Pkwy., Columbus, OH 43240.

This position requires up to 20% domestic travel.

Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
