Securities Services Technology Business Manager - Senior Associate

As a Securities Services Technology Business Manager - Senior Associate within the Business Management team, you will be responsible for optimizing business performance by promoting key initiatives.

You will act as a trusted advisor and counterweight to Business/Group Heads, identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks.

You will manage all financial matters within the Securities Services Technology team, including financial reporting, workforce management, location strategy, and project & resource planning.

This role provides an opportunity to work closely with technology managers, senior management, and governance committees, providing high-quality presentations and reports to support decision-making.

You will also have the chance to participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and global managers, continually improving and adding value to existing business processes.

Job Responsibilities


* Manage forecast updates within forecasting tool on weekly basis, reflecting financial risks and opportunities, meet regularly with the technology managers to review their finances.

And support with annual expense/resource planning.


* Use standard financial reporting to track forecast/actuals versus plan and articulate variance drivers across the portfolio to stakeholders.

Investigate expense allocations charged to various businesses on regular basis and handle ad-hoc queries from stakeholders


* Deliver reporting to senior management and governance committees to support decision making, including talent management, delivery prioritization, trend analysis etc.


* Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis


* Organize complex information in a strategic and compelling way, demonstrating strong design acumen and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint techniques.

Create wireframes and mock-ups quickly and iteratively for management presentations, reports, and dashboards


* Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand projects and drive next steps


* Project manage and deliver key work streams and tasks


* Identify key business risks on the platform and drive resolution of mitigating controls


* Support audit, regulatory and compliance deliverables; help drive specific action plans and deliverables within the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework


* Coordinate team activities and prepare materials for town halls, employee recognition, and strategy working sessions


* Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and global managers, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes

Required Qualifications


* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area


* Prior experience(preferably at a Financial Services firm) in Business Management or COO role
