What are we looking for?

The Senior Technician - ICC Inspector is responsible for performing a variety of testing, (example: soil, concrete, etc.) project-specific observation, inspection duties and provide assessment data under general supervision.

What you'll do:


* Utilize, read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications, and diagrams


* Use specific methods to observe site activities, perform tasks and give the interpretation of results


* Maintain and calibrate standard equipment


* Attend project meetings alone, without supervision, and communicate effectively with client and project teams

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:


* Must possess certification in one of the following areas: ICC: Soils, Concrete, Masonry, Commercial Building Inspector, Spray-applied Fireproofing; NICET II (geotechnical or construction, or construction material testing or soils); AWCI EIFS inspector; UL or FM firestop examination


* Valid driver's license and reliable driving record


* Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed


* Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently.

Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance.


* Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound.


* Ability to kneel and squat occasionally


* Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time


* Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold)


* Ability to climb occasionally

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:


* High School Diploma or equivalent
