Customer Service Supervisor

Primary Duties & Responsibilities


* Answering incoming calls and attending to customer needs and/or issues calls


* Ensure Coherent Quality Standards are always met


* Monitor and responding to emails in a timely and professional manner


* Pickup and delivery scheduling


* Receiving and accounting for all packages, and customer product


* Verifying customers paperwork


* Creating jobs for the Operators


* Preparing jobs for the Operators


* Stage work for production


* Work closely with the fab lead to ensure jobs are scheduled properly


* Running closing paperwork (shippers)


* Boxing and shipping work via courier


* Handle both domestic and international shipments for disk and wafers


* Palletizing customer product


* Pre-scheduling work for customers


* Keeping the Customer Service area clean and organized (6S Protocols)


* Monitoring the Hold Shelf


* Keeping the Customer Service Area well stocked


* Communicating issues to all departments


* Schedule the shifts to meet our customer needs


* Meeting with employees to ensure good communication is always present


* Coordinating to resolve Customer Service issues with all departments in a timely fashion and proliferating a teamwork culture


* Interacting and communicating with employees regularly to ensure open two-way communication channels


* Getting feedback from other Operators or Engineers regarding best practices


* Documenting any issues, mishaps, or suggestions for operational and customer service improvements


* Ability to deal with differences in opinions and resolve minor issues

Education and Experience


* 3+ years of experience in ion implantation


* 3+ years of experience in customer service


* 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving semiconductor materials

Skills & Other Requirements


* Understanding of ion implant process


* Communication skills


* Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions


* Experience working in a cleanroom

Safety Requirements

All employees are required to attend scheduled training, follow the site EHS procedures and II-VI Corporate EHS standards.

This includes the use of proper protective equipment (PPE) as required by the job responsibilities.

Managers will ensure that all safety and environmental procedures are followed consistently.

They will ensure that risk assessments are performed, proper training, work instructions, required PPE is available, and will monitor compliance.

Quality & Environmental Responsibilities

Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
