Radiologic Technologist - MRI, Per Diem

Work Schedule :

30% Per diem float position offering day/evening shifts for coverage at University Hospital, UW Science Drive Medical Center, Eastpark Medical Center, UW Health 1 South Park Street Clinic, and UW Health East Madison Hospital.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist - MRI to:


* Perform technical imaging examinations and complex and specialized procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems.


* Work independently in this position with all patient age groups and varying locations.


* Responsible for maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.


* Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures.


* Participate in the instruction of other fellows, residents, physicians and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research.

Education :

Minimum - Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology

Preferred - Bachelor's degree in relevant field

Work Experience :

Minimum - Previous healthcare experience

Preferred - Two (2) years of clinic experience

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum -


* Certification by appropriate body (ARRT and valid Wisconsin Radiological License)


* CPR certification required within 3 months of hire


* MRI certification within 30 months of hire

Preferred -


* MRI certification
