Senior Designer

SOLV Energy is an engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and solar services provider for utility solar, high voltage substation and energy storage markets across North America.

Job Description Summary:
The senior designer will create and implement designs that effectively communicate our company's vision and brand image.

They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and visually appealing designs.

Designer will lead the design process from concept to execution, ensuring effective conveyance of our brand message through a wide range of materials, including presentations, marketing collateral, signage, internal
communications, newsletters, advertisements and web graphics.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:


* Collaborate internally as well as with clients to conceptualize and execute creative solutions that can be translated across various media platforms


* Design original pieces, including illustrations and infographics


* Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software


* Apply typography techniques


* Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services


* Increase user friendliness in digital products


* Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects


* Liaise with marketing and design teams to ensure deadlines are met


* Update and maintain internal databases for designs


* Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:


* Proven work experience as a Senior Designer, Graphic Designer or similar role


* Portfolio of completed design projects


* Hands-on experience with image editing software, like Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator


* Proficient in design software (e.g.

InDesign)


* Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts and layouts


* Attention to visual details


* Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team


* BS degree in Design, Visual Arts or relevant field


* Strong creative, organizational, problem solving and time-management skills.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:


* Requires frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, finger dexterity, and talking


* Occasional stooping/bending/crouching, carrying and lifting 20 or more lbs.


* The noise intensity level is moderate
