Gift Shop Assistant

Work Schedule :

This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position.

Scheduled hours are 8:00am - 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.

One Saturday shift per month from 10:30am - 3:30pm.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Gift Shop Assistant to:


* Provide quality customer service and ensure a positive retail experience for patients, families, staff, and visitors at the University Hospital and the American Family Children's Hospital gift shops.


* Provide support to the service and fundraising goals of the shop.


* Assist the Supervisor in purchasing related tasks and decisions for the University Hospital and American Family Children's Hospital gift shops

Qualifications



* High School Diploma or equivalent Required


* Technical degree or post high school education Preferred

Work Experience



* 1 year of retail experience Required


* Experience in ordering, receiving, pricing and inventory of products Preferred
