Director IS Project Management

Work Schedule :

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position scheduled to work Monday through Friday, with core hours between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Applicants hired into this position can work hybrid from WI or IL.

Help lead the IS Project Management Office at the #1 hospital in Wisconsin.

We are seeking a collaborative and innovative Director of IS Project Management who is responsible for the direction and leadership of the IS Project Management Office (PMO).


* In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of IS & Informatics project management quality and standards while ensuring our portfolio of work is accurately planned, executed, and reported on through overall portfolio health.


* Additionally, you will develop and maintain IS PMO performance metrics and portfolio review materials, ensure ongoing professional development activities to mature project management skillsets and practices across the department, and collaborate with PMO peers across the enterprise to standardize key project management practices.


* Your experience and expertise will guide you as a key leader in driving skillset and mindset standards needed within our processes and your professional tenacity will guide you to deliver high-quality, on-time, well-coordinated programs often spanning large portfolios of highly complex work that deliver value to the organization.

The Director, IS Project Management will need demonstrated success in:


* Leading large-scale projects and project teams spanning a large and complex enterprise.


* Successful leadership within a large portfolio of projects/initiatives.


* Team leadership and development.


* Connecting strategic enterprise priorities to outcomes, value and completion of major initiatives.

Education :

Minimum - Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.

Preferred - Master's Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.

Work Experience :

Minimum -


* Demonstrated success leading large-scale projects and project teams spanning a large and complex enterprise.


* Demonstrated success with team leadership and development.


* Demonstrated success connecting strategic enterprise priorities to outcomes, value and completion of major initiatives.


* Demonstrated success leading Agile project management.


* Demonstrated success forming and sustaining collaborative, trusted-advisor relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Preferred -


* Ten (10) years of progressive project and management leadership experience, including five (5) years with IS teams and projects, in a health system, academic medical center or health pay...
