Product Master Data Analyst – NAM Data Office

The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate the creation and maintenance of SAP front office master data.

The Front Office Master Data analyst needs to ensure smooth business operations through prompt and accurate master data preparation by working closely with the NAM Data Governance, offer management, marketing, plant and country master data analysts and end users.

In addition, the Front Office Master Data Analyst is also responsible for working with the master data coordinators and the NAM Data Governance Teams on continuous improvement initiatives for data quality.

This role will also work on data cleansing to prepare for future SAP releases.

This position will report into the NAM Data Office Team.

Specific Duties:
• Responsible for the process to manage our front office master data in SAP
• Will be in constant communication with Offer Management, Marketing, Services, and Supply Chain teams
• Administer and improve offer data management execution time in One Shuttle tool
• Responsible for the creation of sales views, activating, obsoleting and changing products and offers according to lifecycle and projects.
• Work with key users, Services and the NAM Data Governance teams to identify process and quality gaps and to resolve data issues in a timely manner
• Establish and maintain an ongoing process for measuring master data process activity (number or requests and their cycle times) and data quality.
• Prepare and publish monthly data quality metrics, understand root cause of issues and take corrective actions to avoid inconsistencies in data
• Provide localized training for One Shuttle users.
• Apply processes while following broad guidelines set up by NAM Data Governance team relating to procedures, tools, roles, monitoring tools and dashboard for Life Cycle Management of information based on understanding of business requirements
• Work with NAM data governance peers to establish common vocabulary and business descriptions of data.

Resolve redundant or inconsistent terminology and usage
• Will be the filter of any kind of changes in the product master

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Data Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business.
• Product Master Data, SAP / ERP experience, Data Governance experience preferred
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Open minded and open to change
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through.
• Strong analytical, numerical, math, statistics skills.
• Ability to cooperate and work in multicultural environment.
• High level of organizational and communication skills are required.
