Supply Chain Supervisor

What will you do?
• Lead & supervise team of MRP planners to ensure material availability
• Collaborate with upstream planning leader to ensure accuracy in forecast process
• Monitor performance & drive improvement in upstream supply chain team (reviewing KPIs and leading projects to optimize resources)
• Leading continuous improvement approach for supplier on time delivery
• Pilot containment, corrective and preventive actions to solve upstream SC issues of plant (ex.

excess inventory, material outages, etc)
• First point of contact for material escalations & drive solution with problem-solving mentality
• Escalate to senior level for critical SC issues with suppliers

What qualifications will make you successful?
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of Supply Chain direct leadership experience
• Business understanding of: supply chain, value streams, reporting, and forecast
• Previous scheduling/planning experience preferred
• Proficiency user of Microsoft Office & EPR systems (SAP), Kinaxis, Tableau and SQL
• Strong verbal / presentation and written communications skills working in a complex organization.
• Ability to make independent decisions with little supervision
• Ability to proactively seek out information, training, and other resources needed to facilitate continual professional development necessary to be successful in position
