Lead Urgent Care RN (late shift)

As a Lead Urgent Care RN, you will execute daily workflows, deliver high-quality clinical outcomes, and provide exemplary patient care.

It is expected that the daily work of the Lead Urgent Care RN will encompass both lead and direct patient care responsibilities .

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:45pm to 11:30pm and rotating on-call for weekends.

Hiring range: between $43.85-$56.25/hour, and placement in the range is based on evaluation of experience.

Differentials Available: Evening ($2.00/hour), Saturday/Sunday ($2.50/hour)

Responsibilities include:


* Using assessment skills to triage patients according to protocol


* Ability to perform clinical skills such as IV, urinary catheters, ear lavage, EKG, sterile set up, injections, immunizations, point-of-care testing, swabbing, phlebotomy.


* Reassign staff to meet the needs of the day and coordinate cross-site, as necessary.


* Must work independently and as a team member and be able to wear a mask all day, including an N95 in cases where protocol directs.


* Act as the first level, "go to person" for the providers and staff regarding troubleshooting issues.

Act as a mentor, role model, and resource for co-workers.


* Assist manager with provider schedules, coordinating vacation requests and sick calls to ensure appropriate clinical coverage.

Assist manager with review of time cards.


* Monitor and process Telephone and MyChart encounters to meet Clinic timelines.


* Maintain efficient levels of medications, medical and office supplies.


* Facilitate the orientation and training of new and on-call staff.


* Train, communicate, and monitor any new processes to the department/unit.

Requirements:


* Active unencumbered Washington RN license and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required.

( Active Washington license within 60 days of hire or transfer if use multi-state licensure)


* Active unencumbered Oregon RN license within 60 days of hire or transfer required.


* Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required.


* Ability to successfully become a core-trainer and super user of EHR.


* Superior communication skills and interpersonal skills set.

--B onus awarded to eligible new hires only.

Bonus subject to repayment terms and applicable tax withholding.

Pay Range:
$43.02 - $64.53
