SCOPE OF ROLE

Reporting to the Director, Dental Services, the General Dentist is responsible for providing comprehensive and appropriate dental care and treatment to patients.

The General Dentist will provide supervision to dental assistants and dental hygienists as assigned and will personally provide care to patients, working collaboratively with all staff in an integrated care environment.

Ensure the delivery of competent, accurate, dental care and treatment to all patients as assigned.

Ensure the organization meets or exceeds all governmental, regulatory and accreditation standards in all areas of day-to-day operations.
