Global Brand Protection Senior Specialist

Description

• Develop and implement strategies to protect the company's brands and intellectual property in China.
• Work closely with the legal team, business units, and external partners to identify and address potential risks to the company's intellectual property in China.
• Manage investigations related to counterfeit, tempering, diversion products, and other intellectual property violations in China.
• Train, and manage vendors as required, including drafting, and negotiating contracts, providing leadership and guidance to vendors once retained and monitoring all work completed.
• Manage Customs Recordation and accordingly Customs training in China.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other external partners in China to take legal action against counterfeiters and infringers.
• Monitor the Chinese marketplace for potential counterfeits and infringements.
• Conduct training and awareness programs for employees and external partners in China on brand protection and intellectual property rights.
• Assist with the development and implementation of anti-counterfeiting technologies and security features in China.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Regional Director, or their respective designees

• Bachelor's degree in business, law, or related field.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Internet, email, word processing and database programs.
• Ability to speak, read and write Mandarin Chinese, good written and oral command of English.Desired Qualifications
• 3 years of experience in brand protection, intellectual property, or related fields with a focus on China.
• Previous experience working in business or government enforcement agencies, especially in the areas of investigation, security management.

Knowledge of Chinese intellectual property laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must have a positive can-do attitude with strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely; ability to prepare and deliver presentations and briefings, for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
