Technical Support Rep - Corrugator

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Technical Support Rep - Corrugator for our Corrugated facilities in Bradford, PA and Mt.Wolf, PA.

This role will provide daily technical support, training and mentoring of the BHS Corrugator through the application of the Principle-Based Management™ and will be responsible for training, mentoring, and troubleshooting the daily operations for the BHS Corrugator.

The ideal candidate possesses leadership skills and effective communication skills to interact with staff, employees, other departments, suppliers, and customers relative to solving labor, product integrity, and service issues.

Location: This position will support two facilities.

One facility is located in Bradford, PA and the other in Mt.

Wolf, PA.

What You Will Do


* Lead a team in compliance in safety, health, environmental, and quality.


* Foster a culture based on our Principle Based Management (PBM®) Philosophy


* Drive safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively identify hazards and implement appropriate mitigating strategies; investigate incidents and participate in resolution of causes.


* Knowledge of the corrugated industry


* Assist with install, troubleshoot, and repair corrugated machinery


* Champion our new Corrugator by coaching and training a team on successfully operating a Corrugator


* Provide after-hours emergency support


* Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues for the Corrugator.


* Ability to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressed air, and vacuum systems and work with steam and boiler controls and mechanical power drives, electrical equipment/systems and control circuits, 3 Phase Motors and Programmable Logical Controls (PLC) applications.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Experience operating and troubleshooting mechanics for BHS Corrugator.


* Prior industrial maintenance experience


* Availability to work overtime and some weekend hours as needed.


* Ability to travel 25-50% between Bradford and Mt.

Wolf.

What Will Put You Ahead


* At least three (3) or more years of corrugated/package industry


* At least three (3) years or more of mechanical troubleshooting knowledge


* Experience with BHS corrugators
