* This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED certificate AND 2 years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment.


* Role requires passing a weld test per AWS D17.1


* Role requires passing a visual test, to include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and ability to adjust focus.


* Ability to stand for extended periods (8 hours minimum).


* Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 lbs.) unassisted.


* Ability to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body, working in cramped positions in small openings.


* Ability to work in an environment with exposure to fumes, odors, and noise.


* Must be available for all shifts (1st shift, M-Th 5am-3pm; 2nd shift, M-Th 3pm-1am; or Weekend shift, F-Sun 5am-5pm).

Must be able to work overtime and weekends as the schedule varies depending on site operational needs; flexibility is required.


* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:


* 8 years of experience in TIG welding with one or more of the following materials: stainless steel, carbon steel, titanium, Inconel, cobalt based alloys, and nickel-based alloys.


* Highly proficient in weld preparation methods, grinding, and fabrication welding.
