Job Summary

Maintenance Coordinators are responsible for planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance activities for craft personnel, mechanics, electricians, and calibrations technicians.

Key Responsibilities

Under general direction of Facilities Lead and Reliability Engineering Manager and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:


* Must read, interpret, and follow work instructions and training materials.


* Pass and maintain training and certification examinations as required.


* Review of work orders to identify all planned maintenance activities.


* Research backlog work orders and identify those with available parts and resources.


* Maintain an up to date backlog, ensuring that completed items are removed from the backlog in a timely manner.


* Lead weekly cross-functional planning meeting to develop weekly master schedule.


* Publish weekly schedule and communicate to manufacturing and craft facilitators.


* Coordinate outages with other maintenance coordinators.


* Develop and publish maintenance metrics.


* Assist to resolve poor performing metrics.


* Ability to review maintenance procedures and suggest / make improvements and additions.


* Will act as a backup for other maintenance coordinators to cover absenteeism.


* Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Maximo (CMMS).
