Summary

As an Electrical Panel Builder specializing in automation panels, you will play a crucial role in the implementation of complex control systems for industrial automation.

Your extensive experience in assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels will be invaluable in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and reliability of automated systems.

With a solid foundation in UL508A standards and certification, you will be adept at following strict guidelines to build control panels that meet rigorous safety and quality requirements.

Your expertise in working with automation components, interpreting intricate schematics, and troubleshooting issues will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions for industrial automation projects.

In this role, your experience will allow you to take on leadership responsibilities, mentor junior team members, and collaborate effectively with engineers and project managers to drive successful project outcomes.

Your proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, along with your deep understanding of electrical codes and regulations, will be essential as you contribute to the continued innovation and growth of automation solutions within the industrial sector.

Responsibilities


* Read and interpret electrical panel layouts and schematics


* Understand basic electrical theory for AC and DC circuits


* Experience within established panel building practices required to maintain the UL508A certification


* Familiarity with electrical panels containing PLC, HMI, Drives and other industrial automation components


* Drill & tap holes on an electrical backplane for the purpose of mounting devices such as DIN rail, wire ducting, ground lugs, etc.


* Modify enclosures to mount operator devices such as switches, lights, HMI's by cutting and punching holes
