Koch Fertilizer is seeking a Sales Representative to join the team!
Our Team
The Sales Representative reports to the Director of Eastern US Territory and is based at the headquarters in Wichita, KS with responsibility for the East Coast and will include 25 - 35% travel, including overnight travel.
What You Will Do
* Manage day-to-day fertilizer sales, trading, and logistics activities
* Develop and contribute to short term and long-term point of view
* Identify and solve issues to ensure timely product flow and customer service
* Build and maintain strong relationships with external customers and internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment, delivery, and customer support
* Negotiate sales contracts
* Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to leadership
* Assist in identification and analysis of growth projects and Koch Fertilizer strategies
* Apply economic thinking towards potential opportunities
* Attend industry conferences and trade shows to enhance brand awareness and build a strong professional network
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* A minimum of 3 years of work experience in Marketing, Sales, Trading, Agronomics or Logistics
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
What Will Put You Ahead
* Agronomic or Direct Sales Experience
* Bachelor's degree or higher in an Agronomic related field
* Experience analyzing market trends, identifying customer needs, and tailoring fertilizer solutions accordingly
