WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?


* Delivering business solutions to all employee-related matters by providing sound practical support to managers


* Ensuring all managers and supervisors are acting in accordance with relevant legislations


* Providing advice to leaders and employees regarding grievances and misconducta investigations as required, presenting findings and recommendations


* Designing, drafting and negotiating of enterprise bargaining agreements including representing the company at external tribunals in relation to agreement-making


* Supporting the line managers on creating the appropriate organisation reporting lines to achieve the business objectives, assessing skills within distinct work groups and ensuring development plans are documented to cover skill gaps


* Supporting managers with recruitment and selection processes


* Identifying and championing employee engagement and retention programs.


* Updating and reviewing policies/documents


* Contributing to key HR projects including new systems and change in the workplace

 

WHAT CAN YOU BRING?


* Relevant experience in a HR Generalist/HR Leadership position - Essential


* Formal qualifications to degree level in Human Resources / Psychology or related social science discipline - Desired


* Experience in Enterprise Bargaining, formulation of Enterprise Agreements and the application of Employment Legislation - Desired


* Previous experience with Award interpretation and employment legislation - Desired


* Although the position has no direct reports you will be able to demonstrate the ability to influence decisions


* Proven experience to work with colleagues who are geographically dispersed
