We are searching for a motivated & experienced Product Implementation Specialist

Product Specialist is responsible for understanding and implementing products offered by the company enabling the Project Management team to generate and close on opportunities.

Their role involves a combination of technical knowledge, customer understanding, and communication skills with an eye on continuous improvement and attention to detail while maintaining a customer first mentality.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

* Product Registration


* Maintain detailed Product Database


* Prepare & Maintain Product Specifications


* Product Maintenance


* Knowledge about JDE system and customer portals to support Sales and Project Management


* Discontinued & Obsolete Product Management


* GDSN Management for all Products


* Communicate all product related information to enable Sales & Projects


* Prepare Internal Department Notification detailing all product changes and implementation timelines pertaining to each department – Customer Service, Finance, Logistics, Marketing, Operations, Production Planning, Purchasing, QA, R&D, Samples.


* Prepare Sales Team Notifications regarding any product changes or replacements with clear action-points


* Collaborate with Europastry QA teams to capture product data to enable Sales and company projects


* Manage integration of new partner products.


* Be recognized as ‘the go-to-person’ for the most product related queries.


* Informs supervision of any problems or complications that may arise.


* Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:


* Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all company policies and procedures.


* Leadership and problem solving acumen.


* Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments. 


* Must follow all Company Safety policies, as well as all GMP regulations and all lock-out/tag-out requirements according to OSHA requirements.

Requirements/Education:


* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 2 years product implementation experience in the food industry, bakery a plus.
