Systems Engineer

Supervisory Responsibilities:


* None

Duties/Responsibilities:


* Assist with performing testing with various systems engineering development projects


* Runs system performance analysis


* Monitors Quality of service for the network


* Able to develop software tools to assist with systems analysis from test data or network performance data.


* Provides systems engineering support for new development projects


* Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:


* Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact clearly and concisely with all departments and levels of management.


* Strong problem-solving skills, especially under time constraints.


* Outstanding organizational, and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.


* Ability to identify and seek needed information.

Education and Experience:


* Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in wireless communication.

Additional course work in computer science is preferred.


* Exposure to satellite communication is an advantage.


* Experience with test equipment like Spectrum analyzer, Network analyzer, Vector network analyzer etc.


* At least 1-3 years of experience in engineering, systems design, or other related fields

Physical Requirements:


* Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer


* Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
