Engineer III

Ardurra is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our transportation team in the role of Professional Engineer.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work alongside outstanding seasoned professionals on exciting and challenging projects that improve the quality of life in our communities.

Your primary duties may include:


* Design and develop roadway and highway construction contract plans using the latest CADD software, including MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.


* Identify construction pay items and compute quantities and opinions of costs.


* Prepare construction specifications and specification packages.


* Develop and analyze feasible design alternatives comparing parameters, such as typical sections, horizontal and vertical alignments, right-of-way requirements, impacts on existing utilities, constructability, and construction cost.


* Perform standard computations and analysis and research assignments.


* Attend design meetings and coordinate with team members.


* Prepare letters, memorandums, reports, spreadsheets, power point presentations, and project schedules.


* Document design decisions.

Minimum Requirements:  


* Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.


* Licensed Professional Engineer in Florida or ability to obtain within 6 months from date of hire.


* 4-8 years of progressive engineering experience.


* Proficient user of Bentley software products (OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation) for roadway design and plans production.
