The role also involves driving best practices through continuous improvement projects, implementing automation and digital transformation, and reducing manufacturing costs.
Additionally, you will be involved in designing and building 3D printed and additive manufactured components.
What You Will Do
* Drive best practices through continuous improvement projects to include lean events and lean methodologies.
* Design and implementation of automation and digital transformation.
* Improve manufacturing efficiencies and reduce manufacturing costs through lean and continuous improvement.
* Design and build 3D printed and additive manufactured components used in fixtures and other work holding devices.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* A minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment with heavy fabrication equipment including jig and fixture design, welding, sheet metal fabrication and assembly
* Experience using 3D and 2D modeling software
* Experience with CAD/CAM software
