Accounting Manager

General Stamping & Metalworks is looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to join our team in South Bend.

In this role you'll own the day-to-day accounting function and partner directly with the controller.

You'll have real autonomy and visibility, from managing cash flow and collections to shaping the financial reporting that guides the business.

This role suits someone who takes pride in accuracy and wants to own the month-end process.

• Manage a wide range of accounting functions, with significant autonomy and visibility.

• Work closely with leadership on cash flow, collections, invoicing and financial reporting.

• Gain exposure to revenue generation, forecasting and operational finance.

• Play a key role in keeping the financials accurate and maintaining process discipline.

• Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities • Manage daily accounting operations, including cash receipts, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Oversee customer invoicing, collections, cash flow reporting and revenue generation activities.

• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close, including audit and tax filing requests.

• Supervise, train and develop accounts payable staff.
