What you will do

The Principal Scientist, Sustainability & Resiliency provides technical, analytical, and integration support across climate, nature, water & wastewater, and waste.

This role plays a key part in advancing Kenvue's Healthy Lives Mission - Healthy Planet commitments by connecting environmental insights, assessments, and analytics into practical frameworks, readiness tools, and performance improvement opportunities.

The role works closely with EHS, Operations, and Procurement to support integrated environmental strategy and risk management development and operational readiness across the Source-Make-Deliver value stream.

Key Responsibilities


* Support development of integrated environmental sustainability and risk management strategy across climate, nature, water & wastewater, and waste.


* Translate strategy into prioritization frameworks, readiness criteria, and planning guidance for functional partners.


* Contribute to cross‑functional roadmaps and capability‑building plans.


* Develop KPIs and performance indicators to support enterprise-wide tracking and decision-making.


* Assess environmental sustainability risks and collaborate with functional teams on mitigation pathways.


* Partner with Enterprise Risk to incorporate environmental sustainability into governance processes.


* Prepare technical and analytical materials for governance forums and leadership reviews.


* Maintain governance calendars, decision logs, and integrated risk visibility tools.


* Support improvements in external ratings and disclosures (e.g., CDP) through best‑practice analytics.


* Collaborate with EHS, Operations, and Procurement to ensure accurate environmental data and insights.
