Responsibilities and Tasks



* Be the owner; have a tendency to assume responsibility, a healthy dose of skepticism, and contribute to a culture of high performance.

Lead the project from start to finish with the customer and the engineering team.

Work with technical leads to develop a solution and path for success, identify engineering needs, and validate the projected outcome with the customer.

PMs are empowered to quickly assume high levels of responsibility and entrust them to actively own their account and shape its success.



* Builds, develops, and maintains close customer relationships, anticipates customer needs, creatively addresses customer issues, and continually pursues open communications to strategically expand the business.

Implements continuous improvement efforts to meet customer requirements by fostering an entrepreneurial and collaborative workforce.



* Assures customer satisfaction in terms of product performance, delivery, cost and contracted scope as the primary point of contact for the customer.

Provides sufficient details of program performance, risk assessments, and identification of opportunities for improvement.



* Leads proposals through the Business Acquisition Process.

Accountable for initial program planning including proposal philosophy coordination, proposal preparation; statements of work specifications and the estimation of product or service costs.

Assists in the development of contract negotiation strategies with customers, suppliers, and affiliates to achieve financial objectives.



* Coordinates with marketing personnel and assists in the preparation and implementation of marketing plans.

Helps in leading the capture of new business, by coordination of proposal philosophy and preparation, robust estimation of material, labor, and other direct costs, and developing sub-tier statements of work and specifications.



* Conducts periodic internal and external program reviews to monitor program execution, keep management informed, and collect program performance feedback, risk assessment inputs, and identification of opportunities for improvement.



* Plans and executes programs per contractual obligations, directly and/or indirectly managing the performance of multiple suppliers, affiliates, or peer organizations....
