Project controller

We are looking for a Project Controller (Solution Controller) to strengthen our project controlling team in Zagreb/Ljubljana.

Mission:

The overall goal of a Solution Controller is to avoid and anticipate potential surprises from a

business perspective for our project and service business, improve Gross Margin through cost reduction and maximizing Sales, and ensure that the financials reflect the latest known status of a project or services P&L.

Essential Responsibilities:


* Responsible for ensuring the financial accuracy and transparency of projects and services reporting


* Partner with Local and Regional teams (project team, services team, business finance, accounting, treasury and other teams) to provide financial support in terms of data stewardship, metrics, analysis, reporting, risk measurements and mitigation, compliance.


* Monitor projects and services accounting, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting from

handover to the projects close out


* Analyze trends and deviations in performance and recommend corrective actions to

management.

Help to deploy mitigation and prevention plans.


* Challenge PMs and Services leaders and team members to get the best results.


* Lead and participate as an active and disciplined member of the team in monthly


* Project and Services Reviews, communicate issues and actions, and aid in accurate forecasting


* Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and IFRS, as well as


* Application of business and system processes.


* Provide monthly reporting and analysis and ad-hoc individual reporting requirements

Requirements:


* University and/or Business School: Bachelor's degree in the field of Economics, Finance, Accounting, Project Controlling


* At least 3 years' experience in Finance & Control or Project environment


* Experience in a Multi-cultural team environment is a plus


* Fluent in English


* Advanced Excel Skills


* Strong communication skills to drive high performance and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders


* Strong analytical skills to handle complex matters in a synthetic way


* Proven leadership skills to act as trusted advisor toward different management levels
