The Opportunity


* Responsible for teaching/advising residents and fellows.


* Work closely with and support the Residency Program Director - Partner.


* Responsible for following program requirements in accordance with the ACGME and all other accrediting agencies.


* Responsible for supporting and delivering an engaging learning curriculum.


* Ensure that Residency Programs meet all state, federal, and other regulations and guidelines and comply with ACGME standards.


* Oversee and engage with all Residency Core Faculty, Clinical faculty, and Program Coordinators (if applicable).


* Actively participate in recruitment and selection of new residents for admission to the program.


* Assess performance of residents regularly.


* Be a participating member of the Clinical Competency Committee (CCC) and the Program Evaluation Committee (PEC).


* Annually complete the ACGME faculty survey.


* Remain clinically active.


* Mentor and coach residents, advise them regarding their career and educational goals.


* Administer and maintain an educational environment conducive to educating residents in each of the ACGME competency areas.
