Role Summary
The Parts Setup Sales Support Rep is responsible for facilitating internal and external parts sales through the execution and management of the parts setup process.
This position primarily works to support the Parts Sales and Service teams by executing quality and timely part setup requests.
Additionally, the position will also provide support in resolving complex requests by working effectively with internal stakeholder and external suppliers.
Parts Setup Sales Support
* Conducts parts and purchasing research to support setup of part for sale
* Completes required steps for new item creation in parts warehouses
* Maintains Altec data related to part number maintenance
* Effectively works with Purchasing team and external suppliers to assist in parts quoting
* Applies the Altec pricing strategy to parts for sales externally and through Service
* All other duties assigned
Should the selected candidate meet the qualifications of a more experienced level in the career path, the job level may be adjusted.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
* High School Diploma or GED required and
* Two years of experience in industry-related field required (i.e., Customer Service with manufactured products or product services; Material Support or inventory control for manufactured products; or Service Writing in a dealership) or in a similar job function
Or
* Bachelor's Degree and
* One year of experience in industry-related field preferred (i.e., Customer Service with manufactured products or product services; Material Support or inventory control for manufactured products; or Service Writing in a dealership) or in a similar job function
