Lead Software Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Serve as a technical user interface (UI) developer on a geographically diverse engineering team across global time zones.

Design and develop complex user interfaces for internal and external facing applications.

Build highly secure financial applications using the latest approved authentication and authorization methods.

Research and recommend the latest technical advances, tools, and techniques to continuously improve the product and increase business value for the customers.

Develop automated unit, functional and regression tests.

Build test services to enable testing UI components independently from other system components.

Utilize strong knowledge of Fixed Income Products, specifically Securitized Products, to engage with stakeholders and clients to understand and deliver solutions that meet their needs.

Translate requirements into technical specifications ready for development.

Provide hands-on support to product users.

Collaborate with other product teams to deliver complete product solutions
for users.

Deliver trainings on application technical components as well as business purpose and functionality.

Work in an Agile Scrum development methodology.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as a Lead Software Engineer, Software Engineering, Web UI Application Developer, Application Development, Analyst Programmer - Software Engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Docker; Jenkins; NodeJS; CSS; HTML; Java; Javascript; JQuery; React; SASS; SQL; Typescript; REST; JSON; Kubernetes; AWS Cloud Services; MongoDB; GIT; Automated Testing; System Integration Testing; Unit Testing; Redux; Microfrontend; JDBC; UX Designer - iRise; Figma; and Springboot.

Job Location: 545 Washington Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07310.

Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

Full-Time.

Salary: $170,200 - $215,000 per year.
