Medical Billing Instructor, Adjunct

* Utilizing a variety of teaching methodologies to instruct students, always with intent to facilitate observable evidence of student fulfillment of prescribed learning outcomes.
* Maintaining scholarly activities.
* Participating in professional growth and service in accordance with college policies.
Your Experience Includes:
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and other MS office products as needed.
* Compliance with state, federal and local laws/regulations relating to programs, governmental compliance, and other regulatory standards.
* Minimum three (3) years of occupational (i.e., practical) experience in the medical billing field.
* Must be able to work between the hours of 8am-10:30pm PST four (4) days/week as classes and assignments change.
* Depending on class and faculty schedules, this could be a full-time, part-time or substitute position.
Education: Education and experience must align with state regulations and comply with the rules and regulations of state authorization agencies.
* High School Graduate or equivalent.
* Must be a graduate from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S.
Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the specialty field or the subject area in which they teach.
Certification:
* An AAPC’s Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification is required or must be obtained within six (6) months of the hire date.
Compensation:
* $27.70 - $37.39/hour (California)
* $24.28 - $32.80/hour (Non-California)
