Visual / Dimensional Inspector - Aerospace Manufacturing - 2nd Shift (City of Industry, CA)

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is currently looking for a Visual/Dimensional Inspector on 2nd Shift to join our City of Industry team! They will be reporting to our NDT Supervisor at our aerospace foundry.

Salary: $21 - $25 DOE + 2nd Shift Incentive (Overtime Available)

Hours: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Duties and Responsibilities:


* Use calibrated gauges and equipment to dimensionally inspect steel castings per standardized work instructions.


* Visually inspect castings for rejectable defects, mark parts in an appropriate manner per standardized work instructions.


* Certify parts are conforming to customer blueprint by interpreting specifications and standardized work instructions.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:


* Must be able to read and obtain a basic knowledge and understanding of blueprint specifications with on-the-job training.


* Must be able to read and write in English.


* Must have basic high-school level math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.


* Able to use small, fine tools.


* Requires continuous mental and/or visual attention to detail.


* Able to understand measurements; read and use measurement tools correctly.


* HS diploma or equivalent GED required, but candidates not meeting this requirement who possesses relevant experience will be considered.


* GD&T experience a plus but not required.
