Neuropsychologist, Pediatric

Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando FL seeking a full-time Pediatric Neuropsychologist to join our growing team in the Division of Psychology in Orlando, Florida.

We are excited to announce an opening for a full-time Pediatric Neuropsychologist in our growing team in the Division of Psychology at Nemours Children's Health in Orlando, FL.

The focus of this full-time Pediatric Neuropsychologist position is to provide neuropsychological services within our active outpatient medical specialty clinics and clinical programs.

This individual will provide care for children and adolescents who present with a wide range of diagnoses, including traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, concussion, genetic/metabolic disorders, pediatric cancer, and a wide variety of acquired brain disorders.

The position includes collaboration with a range of medical specialists and multi-disciplinary teams (e.g.

oncology, PMR, ENT, Neurology), including coordination with behavioral health providers.

Both consultation and liaison, as well as team participation, are valued, service models.

The neuropsychologist's expectations are primarily clinical, and as this will be a new position there will be ample opportunity for program development.

Additionally, we welcome applicants who may also have a secondary interest in participating in our training programs and/or clinical research.

This neuropsychologist will work closely with a designated 1.0 psychometrist.

Required qualifications include:


* A Ph.D.

or Psy.D.

from an APA or CPA accredited clinical psychology program


* APA or CPA accredited internship training


* 2- year postdoctoral specialty training in clinical neuropsychology, in accordance with Houston Conference guidelines


* Licensure or license eligibility in the State of Florida


* Candidates should be board certified or eligible for board certification in clinical neuropsychology with the expectation that subspecialty certification in pediatric neuropsychology through ABPP will be completed.

Preference will be given to candidates who have training consistent with the Houston Conference guidelines or meet neuropsychology training guidelines accepted by INS, NAN, and Division 40 of APA.
