Quality Lab Support Technician (Industrial Lab)

POSITION SUMMARY:
Collecting, preparing and testing product samples.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Work safely


* Cut required samples


* Prepare test samples


* Test samples and report results


* Maintain lab machinery


* Housekeeping of lab


* Marks traceability

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:


* Must have thorough understanding of API specifications related to tubular goods.


* Must be proficient in the use of machinery used in preparation of test samples.


* Must be proficient in the use of cutting torches for sample collection.


* Must understand the procedures that must be followed for the physical tests conducted at this facility.


* Must have good communication skills and be capable of maintaining historical records of lab tests.



*Pay Rate: Starting at $24/hr.
