HSE Coordinator

Your Job

We are currently looking for an HSE Coordinator for our EMEA Construction Site Service based in Aprilia.

He/She will ensure the activities aimed at compliance with company requirements, site HSE requirements and agency requirements, operating in coordination with HSE Manager.

What You Will Do


* To deliver advice and support on the operational aspects of the KES HSE strategy across the site.


* To ensure site teams have the necessary information and professional advice to enable them to deliver HSE compliance (local and KES) and appropriate mitigation and control strategies within their functional and geographic areas of accountability.


* To ensure KPI, monitoring, internal audit and reporting processes are in place across the sites to provide local, business function and regional visibility of HSE performance.


* Providing support to the Safety Manager and leadership team to achieve the vision through management commitment and employee ownership and engagement.


* Participating in the development and implementation of risk assessment methods/systems for anticipating, identifying, and evaluating hazards


* Serve as a point of contact for all team members to understand and support HSE daily activities.


* To identify and signal to the HSE Manager where specialist HSE support is required.


* Participate and lead incident investigations, enhancing capability throughout the organization to conduct effective investigations that focus on learning, preventing reoccurrence and improving our capacity to fail safely.

To deliver advice and support to ensure local incident investigations identify true root causes, corrective actions, contain sufficient detail and quality to enable timely validation when first submitted.


* Support local internal and external communication networks and build working relationships to ensure that employees are involved and engaged with all aspects of HSE.


* Provide resource (and deliver where appropriate) for HSE training for employees in relevant aspects of HSE.


* Promote initiatives to improve HSE performance across the site.


* Be a visible presence and EHS resource in the field with operations.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)



* Internationally recognized qualification in HSE Management (BSC, NEBOSH or equivalent) or a Master in HSE and have a technical background.


* Basic knowledge of existing and developing relevant HSE legislation, and/ or practical appreciation of HSE hazard


* Confined space


* Working at heights


* Strong Communication, Interpersonal & Influencing Skills


* Fluency in written and oral English


* Strong commitment to protecting and supporting people and the environment.


* May be required frequent travel within Europe up to 70%.
