What you’ll do at Elekta:

This role will report directly to Senior Regional Readiness Manager for OIS SW and will support business line operations and special projects that involve/impact cross functional teams.  This role will require good project management, communication skills, well-organized and be detailed oriented.

 As a Project Specialist Intern, you will support and drive improvements to increase the software project delivery knowledge, capacity, and quality, in cooperation with cross functional teams.

The activities include:


* Project planning, alignment and execution


* Dates, duration and milestone management


* Meeting facilitation, agenda creation, maintaining action items logs and risk mitigation plans.

Responsibilities:



* Coordinating and Managing Project Tasks and Deliverables:


* Work closely with various departments to ensure all aspects of a project are aligned.


* Serve as the point of contact for project-related communication.


* Developing Comprehensive Project Plans and Timelines:


* Define project scope, objectives, and tasks.


* Create detailed project plans that outline milestones and deadlines.


* Communicating Project Objectives and Expectations:


* Clearly convey project goals to team members and stakeholders.


* Ensure everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.


* Tracking Project Performance and Making Necessary Adjustments:


* Monitor project progress against established timelines.
Identify any deviations and take corrective actions.


* Assisting in the Identification and Management of Project Risks and Issues:


* Proactively address potential risks and issues.
Collaborate with relevant teams to mitigate challenges.


* Preparing and Delivering Project Updates and Progress Reports:


* Keep stakeholders informed about project status.
Present updates in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications:

As a project specialist, we are looking for candidates that are not only passionate about driving successful software implementations but also possess the following:
