OR Manager

Description:

Operating Room, Surgical Services

Full-Time, Days

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
This role includes administrative and operational responsibilities for designated departments.

Key duties include managing costs and finance, overseeing human resources, and ensuring operational effectiveness.

The Clinical Manager will also focus on maintaining high standards for quality of care and clinical outcomes, and promoting satisfaction among patients, physicians, and staff.

A significant part of the role involves participating in the entity's management team, contributing to the development and implementation of organizational policies and practices, and supporting the organization's mission, vision, and values.

Additionally, the Clinical Manager plays a vital role in succession planning, identifying and nurturing nursing talent, and providing educational and resource support to develop future leaders.

The position may require direct clinical care for patients across a range of age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, depending on staffing needs.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- Graduate of a nursing program

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Three (3) years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient) or clinical (outpatient) setting.
- At least one (1) year of leadership experience in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
- Current Registered Nurse License in the applicable state.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Advanced certification in field of specialty (if applicable).
- BLS certification required.
