Informal training will continue throughout the term in areas such as tool maintenance, plant identification, and overview of public land management agencies.

AZCC is an independent, non-residential program – we do not provide housing.

Job Description: Design electrical power distribution systems involving protective relays, PLC controls, and power monitoring using computer aided design tools to design one-lines, three-lines, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and physical layouts of the medium voltage electrical products and equipment (2.4-38kV) serving the ANSI/IEEE, UL, North American Market.
Consult on application of products and solutions with end users, consultants, and contractors as well as Schneider Electric sales, quotation, and project execution teams.
Work closely with factory support functions (production, supply chain, purchasing, and customer service) to provide excellent customer experience.
Ensure technical quality of deliverables (drawings, bills of material, services).
Ensure compliance with the project's objectives.
Continuously improve design activity in terms of technical knowledge, efficiency, processes, quality, and service level.
Collaborate with other engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance with design intent and safety considerations.
Remote eligible up to 2 dys/wk.
Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in medium voltage electrical distribution equipment design and engineering, or closely related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Designing and engineering electrical power distribution system protection and control; Translating customer requirements into electrical designs; Creating deliverables including one-lines, three-lines, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of material; and Reading, understanding, and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications for medium voltage equipment.

What will you do:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to design and implement IoT data connectors that power the ingestion and transformation workflows for our EcoStruxure Building Data Platform (BDP) and Connector Hosting Solution.
This role focuses on building ETL-style pipelines that collect, clean, normalize, and deliver IoT telemetry from diverse devices and building systems.

IoT Data Connector Development
* Implement, enhance, and maintain IoT data connectors for collecting, processing, and transforming device and system data.

* Ensure data is received, transformed, and stored efficiently for downstream use by analytics and platform services.
IoT Systems Integration
* Integrate sensors, controllers, and IoT systems into cloud ingestion workflows in collaboration with senior engineers.
* Implement and maintain data models and structures that enable interoperability across diverse IoT systems.
Event-Driven & Cloud-Native Engineering
* Participate in building event-driven connector services using cloud-native patterns and messaging/streaming systems.
* Contribute to cloud-based ingestion applications and assist in deploying connector workloads.
Security & Data Protection
* Apply secure data-handling practices including encryption, authenticated communications, and privacy-focused data processing.
* Support implementation of IoT network and data-security measures aligned to platform standards.
Testing & Quality
* Work with QA and Senior Software Engineer roles to validate connector functionality, data quality, and ETL correctness.
* Assist in debugging data-flow issues, protocol misbehavior, and multi-system integration challenges.
Collaboration
* Collaborate with product managers, and senior engineers to understand requirements and deliver connector enhancements.
* Participate in code reviews, documentation, and cross-team technical discussions.

Contexte

* Réaliser les calculs électriques fondamentaux du transformateur : courants, pertes, échauffements, impédances, niveaux d'isolement, contraintes réseau, courants de court-circuit, etc.

Le Centre d'Application Distribution Électrique (CADE) est un service de gestion de projets.
