Transportation Construction Inspector (TCIS)
Urban Engineers is seeking qualified individuals in Pennsylvania, including Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Erie, Allentown, Scranton, Mechanicsburg/Harrisburg, State College, Altoona, and Williamsport to join the Construction Management Department as Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisors (TCIS-1 and TCIS-2) for highway construction projects.

This position will be responsible for -
* The inspection of highways and bridges and documenting that they are being constructed in conformance with the plans and specifications.
* Inspecting and documenting the field activities performed by the contractor daily and act as a representative for the client.
* Communication between the inspection team, contractor, and client is required daily.
* Supervision of inspection staff team.
* Other tasks may include but not limited to: Project Site Activity (PSA) reports, electronic tablet and computer usage, processing payments, issuing work authorizations and work orders, and monitoring of the project schedule.
Job Requirements:
Minimum requirements for Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS):
* Previous experience as a TCI on PennDOT projects
+ or (6) six years of transportation, highway, or bridge construction inspection supervisor/management experience
+ or (5) five years of transportation highway construction inspection experience
* and must have the following certifications: NICET Level III (Highway Construction), NECEPT Asphalt, and NECEPT/PennDOT Concrete.
-- A B.S.
Degree in Civil Engineering or similar can be substituted for four years of experience.
-- A Professional Engineers License (PE) can be substituted for experience.
Additional requirements:
* PennDOT ECMS v3 and PPCC experience preferred.
* Basic computer skills to use an electronic tablet and computer for reviewing construction drawings/specifications and completing project documentation are required.
* Navigate construction sites in different types of terrain and weather conditions.
* Work hours may include day and/or night shift work, and weekends, based on the type of operation taking place.
* Communication - Both verbal and writing skills are required.
* Candidates must also have their own vehicle and have a valid driver's license.
Candidates will receive mileage reimbursement for duty-related driving.
Pay Rate : $31.05- $35.50 / hour
Pay rate depends on TCIS experience level.

ABOUT SUMMER 2024 INTERNSHIPS
The Kendo Brands Summer Internship is a paid 10 week Program focusing on an assigned project while being introduced to and fully integrated into the daily activities of your team.
For Summer 2024, our program will be hybrid from our downtown San Francisco Office.
Interns will work from home every Monday and Friday, and will come into the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Interns will get the opportunity to explore a department and learn about developing a career at a beauty brand incubator.
Our program will include exposure to senior leadership, networking opportunities, and regular check ins on internship status.
Interns will also get an opportunity to learn more about LVMH and how Kendo fits into the LVMH family.
Applications for the 2024 Internship Program will be open from February 8th to February 23rd.
Salary for all internships will be $23/hour.

The Warehouse Clerk performs tasks that ensure warehouse organization and proper replenishment of goods to company departments.
Position responsible for receiving, sorting and placing delivered goods on shelves or pallets.
Performs picking of goods from warehouse based on pick lists and/or empty supply bins.
Stages goods for delivery to company sites.
May load and secure freight on truck.
Strong focus on safety and use of proper body mechanics when lifting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assists in receiving goods and mail at receiving area.
* Ensures that delivered items with a purchase order are received into computerized financial system.
* Signs for incoming packages.
* Stocks incoming goods in proper warehouse shelf location in a timely manner
* Prepares mail, packages, parcels and return items for outgoing shipment when needed.
* Utilizes handheld computerized device to scan Kanban cards and bins to create pick lists
* Picks goods from warehouse shelves for delivery to sites based on pick lists or Kanban signal
* Ensures cold goods prepared for shipment are secured at correct temperatures to avoid spoilage en route
* Stages goods in an organized, timely fashion for freight delivery
* Assists Truck Driver with loading and properly securing freight load when needed
* Assist team in physical inventory counts when needed.
* Position will follow guidelines and procedures outlined in the Ancillary Utilization Plan.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
